In six different seasons of Bangladesh, the river itself is in different forms! The river in Bangladesh means some images of Bengali's own way of life. Rivers are involved with the daily life of ordinary people.

The river can be called as branch river, sub-river, main river, river etc. according to its composition. Again, in the geographical region, small rivers are called by different names.
The main river usually originates from a source other than the river, such as the Padma Gangotri Glacier. The branch river originates from any other river. For example, the branch of the Buriganga Dhaleshwari. Sub-rivers usually merge into another river, such as the Atrai River. A major river may also be a sub-river of another river.
